Learning Craps-- before you go!

I have never played Craps in the casinos.  I have always wanted to-- it looks like a party at a table.  I'm not, but if you are a single lady, this could be a great start to your evening, as it looks like there are always lots of MEN at the craps table!
However, while in the hospital, I needed a new hobby to occupy my time.  I found the website, www.wizardofodds.com and fell in love.  This website explains most table games, including odds and strategies.

Wizardofodds.com has an interface where you can play for fun.  I have been learning craps, playing (for fun) online, practicing.
The great thing about practicing online is that you get an idea of how the game works.  For craps, however, I plan to go in the morning to an empty or not crowded table and play for a bit.  Trust me, I will inform the dealers that I am new, and ask them for the proper etiquette.

Another place to go online is You Tube.  Search "craps" on You Tube and find tons of videos, some posted by various casinos that show you how to properly place bets and how to play the game.

I can't wait to try my luck at craps next time I'm in Vegas.  Most casinos do offer learning sessions where they teach you how to play, usually between 9-11 am, when they are least busy.  I've been to New York New York where they have lessons early, and I caught some of the lesson (while we were waiting for a bj table to open up!).  Always ask, the dealers want you to play!
